ReplyDeleteI was Annabeth when I took the quiz and this actually describes me very accurately. I am as stubborn as they come and am very determined and hard-headed. When I set a goal for myself, I am going to reach the goal. That's just how it is.
I am also really athletic. Unlike some of you (who seems to have every musical, artistic, and rhythmic gene you can possibly have) I have almost no other talents besides sports! I am definitely NOT musical.
I don't think there is any other character that epitomizes "me" better than Annabeth, but I am like Clarrise with my competitiveness. I can't play anything without wanting to win and trying my best TO win. Some people say that they like to play because a game is fun, but I think winning is fun! Terrible, I know, but I blame it on my family and upbringing.
Let's see- for my cast of characters-
Annabeth- me
Grover- My brother Mike, who is kind and helpful, goofy and happy-go-lucky, and larger than life (literally! He's 6'4" and 220!). He is definitely the protector of his family, friends, and teammates.
Percy- Probably my brother Josh, who is a quiet leader who usually doesn't have as much confidence in himself as he should. He has had many obstacles put in front of him in his athletic and academic life, but has overcome them and now has very happily found "his place" with his girlfriend and career choice.
Mr. D- A Mean adult who doesn't like his job and doesn't like children? Hmmm...I don't know how many people like this I know. I think I will go the "Loves Wine" route and say my Step Father-In-Law, George. He is a great guy...the only connection here is that he loves wine. And, yes, you heard me right- "Step-Father-In-Law"....my husband's mom's fiance.
Chiron-- an adult who always believed in me and pushed me to be my best. This could be many people...I grew up in a smaller town than you guys and all of the adults in my life were so supportive. I have to go with my mom because she is too important in my life to leave out of this list altogether! My mom was the Principal of our school, my volleyball coach, drove me to all of my practices and games for my club teams, and was a great mom on top of it. She and my dad encouraged me to make my own decision about college and where to go for it...even knowing that I might not ever come back if I left.
Luke- An older mentor-ish kind of person...my Aunts Lynn and Jackie (my mom's sisters). They are strong, well-educated, and ambitious people who have great families, careers, and lives.
Clarisse- This could be many people, as my family is neither small physically nor non-competitive. I am going to go with my cousin, Tessa, who is two months older than me and wayyyyyy more stubborn and competitive than I am (if you can believe it).

ReplyDeleteI think it is accurate how it says I am determined and stubborn. I kind of like water but I’m not in it 24/7.
It’s not me where it says I will do any thing for the ones I love and the water thing is half and half. But I like frozen water.
Chiron would be my dad cause he is a Good role model and teacher
Grover would probably be Alex because he is tall. And can run fast.
Annabeth would be Mrs. Rundel cause she teaches us another language.
Mr D. would be Mr. D
Luke would be my cousin Derek cause he shoots guns with me like Luke plays swords with Percy.
Clarisse would be Jordan cause that’s who he got picked as on the test.

ReplyDelete1. I am Percy Jackson, whose fatal flaw is the love, concern, and nonstop protection he shows for his family and friends. I think that water is important and interesting, and when I have a hard time taking no for an answer. When somebody refuses to allow me to do something, I feel the need to do it anyway.
2. I, as Camden, also have a hard time hearing no as an answer. It makes me want to do that thing even more than I already wanted to beforehand, so I either state an argument or do it anyway. When in an argument I feel like my view needs to be approved by everyone by the end of it.
3. I believe that Percy is much more confident than I am. For example, when Percy was meeting with Hades in the Underworld, he spoke with a strong tone, even though he was speaking to one of the most powerful Gods in Greek Mythology. He also was courageous enough to speak to Ares, the God of War, in a rough and powerful way. I can somewhat picture myself being a little more aware of who I was talking to.
4. I probably would say, if I were to be a different character, I could see myself as Annabeth. Annabeth constantly wants to be the leader in a group, and is determined to have her way, very similar to the way Percy is. I also like to be the center of attention and be a leader, while Percy isn’t focused on being the leader, specifically, but just trying to be as much a part of something as possible.
Cast:
Percy – Me
Annabeth – Sydney Curran – Sydney is strong willed and thinks very highly of herself. She enjoys to lead a group of people as well.
Chiron – Jamie Loeser (my uncle) – My uncle is built to be a natural leader, and has a way of explaining the purposes of various things I don’t understand, and teaching me important life skills.
Mr. D – Mr. LePauloue – I picture MR. D being a very lazy, very comical God. I can see Mr. LePauloue, if he had the chance, sitting in a chair with cards in his hands, pretending to be unaware of mostly everything that’s going on around him, refusing as much as possible not to have any interaction with children.
Luke – Dana Lampson – Dana is a very good actor, and I can see him playing a person who seems to be a good person, someone who accepts everyone for who they are. (Too bad it’s just a cover-up)
Clarisse – Sam Saucier – In the past, Sam’s successfully played numerous villains in theater productions. She has a strong personality, and a mind that is set on something as soon as she thinks of it. She is constantly trying
Well they said I was Percy. I am very stubborn, will risk it all for love, and love water. I am actually very stubborn but I am not always sure about making the right choices. When it comes to my family you hurt them you better go though me. The one I really care about is my brother even though he is a pain in my butt. As weird as it may sound I love love love water. It is very peaceful yet strong. When I am angry in the summer I go beach and at the run to this big wall of rocks that ends the land I feel like a bird there or I could fall into the ocean and become part of it. This was my happy place since I was one.

The quiz results showed that I was Percy Jackson. I think that I definitely think it matches my personality because for one I like the water. I am always in it in the summer and I can’t get enough of it. I also am determined and I can be a little stubborn at times but so is everyone. Another trait that really matches me is the one about how I would do anything for the ones I love and that is a 100% true. I would do anything for the ones that I love and are about no matter what it is.

The best character that describes me is probably Percy. I’m not like him by the way how he always gets in trouble but about how he cares about the people he loves and how he loves the water.

Annabeth- Probably my mom. When she sets herself to do something, nothing can stop her. Plus she can be stuborn and hard-headed. :)

1. I was categorized as Percy Jackson; I’m very determined, but not as stubborn as some people in my life, but I’m stubborn enough. I would do anything for my friends and family. Now, I love water! I’m like in love with it! I love swimming in the ocean and surfing.
ReplyDelete2. I think it’s accurate because if I am very determined, when I see a goal in my mind I go for it, anything to stand in my way. Stubborn. Me? Of course! When it comes to my loved ones, I’m very overprotective. If they were gone, any of them, I wouldn’t be able to get over it, ever. I would always see one tiny reminder and I’d probably cry right there. Now, on to the water thing, what can I say? I’m in love with swimming! Whenever I get a chance to go to the beach I rush to the car, already set to go!
3. I think it’s a pretty good result, because I’m a lot like Percy and a lot of people believe it was accurate too.
4. Tia thinks I would be a good Annabeth! I guess I would be her. I’m quite smart in my own opinion, stubborn, and determined like her.
Percy- I think I would put Tia because I know she would do anything if I was hurt or needed her and even if her family gets on her nerves, she’d still come running if they needed her help, she’s also as stubborn as anyone I’ve ever met (no offense T), she loves to swim.
Grover- I think I would put Leah for Grover because she loves nature- she’s a country girl- also she can read emotions, well mine anyway, because she knows me so well.
Annabeth- I think I would put Michaela for Annabeth because the girl’s a genius! She’s also awesome too!
Chiron- I would put my mom because she’s a good teacher and a good mom!
Mr.D- I would put my dad for Mr.D because, well he’s sometimes really lazy.
Luke- I don’t know who’d be Luke
Clarrise- I would Apryl because she’s stubborn like Clarrise and when we play field hockey, she’s a little Tasmanian devil!

I do not love water, I’d rather be on a boat, and I am not that stubborn, I can be rather easily convinced.
I think Annabeth would better fit me as a person because I forgive people very easily and I am pretty easy going. I also love architecture and I am fairly intelligent.

Percy- I think that it would have to be my cousin Matt because he has gone through a lot and
Grover-My Uncle Paul he is always helping out and always kind to everyone.
Chiron (Mr. Brunner)- I would have to say my dad because he is always pushing me to do my best.
Mr.D- I think I would have to pick Mr. LePauloue because he seems to me to be very lazy, and very self centered.
Luke-I would have to pick my dad because he is very smart and independent and he loves he family very much.
Clarrise- I would have to day that clarrise would have to be my aunt kathy because she is really suborn and she is kinda competitive.
For me, the quiz said that I was Percy Jackson. It said I was determined and stubborn, but I will stick up and support the ones I love. Also, the quiz said that I absolutely love water. I think that the quiz has some things that are true about me.. for example, I am very determined but I'm not that stubborn. Well I am a little stubborn depending on what the topic is. The way that this quiz is incorrect is because I don't love water, but it is okay.
ReplyDeleteI think that according to the quiz I think I would be more like Annabeth, but not so much like her in the book. She is athletic, proud, I have a temper depending on what the situation is, and I do forgive people very easily, but sometimes it takes me a little while to forgive them. In some ways I think I'm a lot like Clarisse because I'm super competitive, if I don't win a sport, then I'm not a happy camper. My family says that I take my sport games to much to heart and that isn't such a good thing.

*Annabeth - me
*Percy - I would choose my younger brother Caleb. The reason why I would choose Caleb to be the role of Caleb is because he is quiet and a little bit shy. Super stubborn just like Percy and they are both very determined. Caleb loves to be in the pool or any type of water in the summer, and supposedly Percy likes water.
*Minotaur - I would choose my friend Reeve to be Minotaur. The reason why I would choose Reeve to be the Minotaur because Reeve is strong and really tough. They both don't really hate anyone, but people use the Minotaur for muscle to fight other people because they know that other people are scared of the Minotaur. Reeve is like this because I use Reeve as a great friend to talk to. I use him for his muscle for the same reason people use the Minotaur. I know that other people are scared of Reeve.
*Grover - I would choose my Daddy for this character, even though he would be a good fit for the Minotaur. The reason why I would choose my Daddy for this character is because my Dad is a great friend and super caring. He is also a very kind person, and he is always there for me.
*Luke - Mr. LePauloue is a great fit for the role of the person Luke in our book. The reason why I think that is because Luke and Mr.LePauloue are both very much of a leader. Mr. LePauloue is someone who takes responsibility and will help others out, and makes sure that you are comfortable with where you are. Well at least to me this is how I think this is how Mr. LePauloue makes me feel.
*Chiron (Mr. Brunner) - I would choose Mrs. Brewer, my 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher. The reason why I would choose Mrs. Brewer is because she is very tough on me because she knows my potential. She knows how well I can work even on days that I don't always want to work my hardest. Sometimes I feel like she is just being mean because she tells me if I think about it long enough then I will figure it out. I now know that she only tells me this when she knows that what I need help on I can do on my own.
*Mr. D - I would choose my little sister, Claudia because she is very lazy... well she loves to be on the go but when she is asked to do something she never wants to do it. She will just sit there until someone else will do whatever you asked her for her. I mean she is only four so I understand sometimes but other then that I hate when she doesn't do what I ask her for.
*Clarisse - I would choose Cullen. The reason why I would choose Cullen as Clarisse is because he is very competitive. Not only is Cullen very competitive like Clarisse, he is also stubborn and they are both very aggressive. Cullen is very aggressive in sports especially, there only difference is that Cullen doesn't always think he is right, Clarisse on the other hand always thinks she is right!!!

ReplyDeleteAccording to the quiz I am a self-centered daughter of Aphrodite. I love dressing up, putting on make-up, and being oh so beautiful!

I have a lot in common with Silena Beauregarde. I absolutely adore shopping and I like to do my make-up and wear very high-fashion clothes.

I try not to be self-centered.

Nope, Silena describes me perfectly.

I love to make myself feel beautiful and I wish the mall was my closet.

a. Percy: Milo. He absolutely loves water!!! He is very stubborn, for example; he won’t eat anything that is hot, and he is a very picky eater when it comes to the taste of foods.
b. Grover: Will Saunders. He is an easy target for bullies, but he doesn’t really care what others think of him. He is not a quitter. He seems small and fragile on the outside, but if you get to know him he is super nice and stands up to bullies.
c. Annabeth: Alie. She has a lot of hair and she is really athletic. She is strong and an extremely fast runner. She is really nice to people, but in some cases once she finds out who they really are she ignores them more and isn’t as nice to them.
d. Chiron (Mr. Brunner): Mrs. Robinson (My third and fourth grade teacher) I learned the most from her than I ever have from any other teacher. She was really nice and we moved through curriculum at a nice pace. Not too fast and not too slow. She taught me how to multiply, divide, write in cursive, write detailed paragraphs, read above my level, and so much more fun stuff. If I hadn’t had her as a teacher I probably wouldn’t be as smart.
e. Mr. D: Connie (My crazed, psycho step-aunt) She is a really mean person and she is always in a grumpy mood. She doesn’t care about anybody but herself. She takes her anger out on other people.
f. Luke: Taylor Lautner. Luke seems like he would be super hot and so is Taylor Lautner! T. L. is mysterious like Luke and many girls would blush and feel their hearts pound in their chest if they got to hug him (Annabeth)
g. Clarrise: A mean, awful, nasty, dreadful, animal. She was really mean and hates everyone who isn’t in her group of friends.

ReplyDelete2. I think is accurate because I would do anything to protect my family and friends because I couldn’t love them more. Most of my family says I’m stubborn and I am stubborn. I am determined too, I will do what I need to, to get what I want.
3. The only thing that is a little off on this description is that I don’t LOVE water, but I do like it a LOT, so it is a little off, but not by much.
4. I’m kind of like Clarrise with my competitiveness. Sometimes I don’t like it and I’m especially competitive with my friends. When Sydness and I play dodge ball or knock out it is bad sometimes. ☺

Percy- I would put Tia as Percy because Tia would do anything for her friends and family and she swims so she loves water, so does Percy.
Grover- I would put Justin as grover because even if he was mad at his friends or family, he would still do anything to help and protect them.
Annabeth- I would put Sydness as Annabeth because she is athletic, creative, and very wise.
Chiron (Mr. Brunner)- Lindsey D as Mr. Brunner because Percy thought he was awesome, and I got Percy and I think Lindsey is awesome so I would put her as Mr. Brunner.
Mr. D- I would put my aunt as Mr. D because my aunt is lazy and drinks like Mr. D
Luke- Rayman would be Luke because Rayman is awesome and everyone loves him and he is “the big man on campus” and Rayman gets chosen to do lots of things and yeah.
Clarrise- I would put Whitney as Clarrise because she is competitive and aggressive and she is a little stubborn if the time calls for it.
